Like many people working in financial services, Debbie fell into the industry by accident over 20 years ago.  Having returned from a 6 month stint living in Italy, she basically needed to earn some money and took the first job that she found - an Office Clerk with Sun Alliance. More

Nilesh Patel, Paraplanner

Nilesh has worked in Financial Services since 1995 spending nearly 10 years with a large national insurance company. Nilesh holds the Diploma in Financial Planning and recently passed JO5 – Pension Income Options in October 2009, and JO6 - Investment Principles, Markets & Environment in April 2010.  Nilesh is also a qualified accountant (ACCA) specialising in tax planning.

Nilesh is interested in most sports and is an ardent Manchester City fan. He also has a young son who takes up most of his time outside of work.

Emma Gibbons, Receptionist

Those who have visited our offices will know Emma as the friendly face who greets and looks after them before their meeting. Emma has worked as a secretary in various sectors including the insurance industry over the last 18 years, and has been the receptionist at Equilibrium since 2005.

In her spare time Emma enjoys cross stitching, as well as holidaying in Wales and walks in the countryside.

Anne Parrott, Account Support

Anne has worked for Equilibrium for 2 happy years now after beginning her career as a Bank Cashier “many years ago” (in her own words).

After a career break of 10 years to raise her two children, Anne took a Business Administration course at College and has since worked for three other local companies before taking up her current position. Anne enjoys dining out, swimming, walking & the occasional yoga class. Last year she took up bike riding, the bike being a present from her husband, which she took as a subtle hint to keep fit!

Nicola Smith, Receptionist

Nicola has been working in secretarial administration roles for over 8 years and joined Equilibrium as a Receptionist in September 2009.

Nicola is kept very busy outside of work looking after her young son, and enjoys walking with her dog Smudge and socialising with friends.
